I purchased four of these stools. Three of them were great! The fourth was horrible. I don’t know how it passed any sort of inspection. The seat was so rough it literally gave off splinters, and none of the screw holes for the footrest or the seat matched up. Also, the footcaps were plastic, not rubber like the other three stools, and so the stool slid all over the floor. It’s like a completely different product than the other three that came. So weird.

Love the look, pain in the butt to put together. It’s almost as if the screws weren’t made for the chair. Putting these chairs together was the closest my husband and I have been to leaving each other.

Love the look of the chair. Clean, industrial and no deviation from the picture. The directions were straightforward and clear, though parts were bent making assembly difficult. I ended up using pliers to get the screws into the holes. Overall a great buy!

It's really hard to find something stylish and functional. These are stylish and they get the job done. The wood seats are not smooth and very absorbent. I took a matte sealant spray and put a couple coats on each seat. that helped a ton with clean up also made them more smooth. Putting the chairs together was a bit confusing for the first chair the ones fallowing were super easy. They are all a bit wobbly I'm sure you can fix that with the soft pad things. But I think you can fix it with adjusting the screws a little. I'll try that but for now it's at the bottom of my to do list. My kids can climb up and down them just fine without them tipping but they are more cautious. I would buy them again.
