Q: Could these magnet clips hold a wall calendar? Shouldn't weigh more than 1 lb. Thank you!

submitted byNick - 1 year agoA: I was mistaken with my previous answer, I had to peel the protective clear plastic off my fridge and they work much better, each clip can hold up to 5oz each which is what my calendar weighs.

A: Hi Kj! The clips are magnetic hence they will only stick on metal surfaces so i believe it would not work on a concreate or sheet rock wall. Hope that helps! Thanks

These are SUPER strong. I honestly didn’t expect them to be so strong, but they are. I use them to hold a weekly meal prep calendar on my fridge and they are perfect. The clip is strong enough to tightly hold the calendar and the magnet is strong enough to keep it in place.

They're great magnets...until your 3 year old tries to reach them and then slides one down, permanently scratching your refrigerator.... We have 4 of them, and they ALL have multiple sharp points, so I couldn't even tell you which ones have/haven't scratched the fridge. They should have been made differently.

I bought these for my classroom whiteboard. I use them to hold papers on my board for my class. The magnets are pretty strong. Or at least strong enough for what I use them for. I have paper in a sheet protector clipped to my board and it doesn’t drag the magnet down or anything. I actually wish I bought more if these!

The metal cases are at a few points protrude beyond the magnets, so after using for a few weeks I noticed it had put large scratches on my stainless fridge door. Extremely upsetting. $3 magnets making my $2K fridge look like crap.

It’s hard to find magnets with a strong grip these days but these hold better than expected. I can clip grocery lists or holiday cards to the fridge without them falling off, even when opening and closing the doors.

It took 6 of these to hold a one-pound calendar on a metal door. Plan accordingly, unless you like your calendar on the floor or hanging from a nail. They want me to say more, so blah blah blah blah. Be excellent to each other, and party on. Oh, no. They want more. Always be kind, even when it makes your head hurt. Don’t forget: 6 of these per pound. Go in peace.
