Paint got everywhere when the instructions told me to squeeze the bottles to get the pain to come out. You're better off sticking something sharp down the paint tube to open it or paint will go everywhere. Stencils did not work. Paint leaked through. Paint was bad it builds up with more layers and becomes really clunky. Not easy to just wipe away any mistakes on the mug. Took us 4 hours to get 2/5 mug and we made our own stencils out of paper. Would never do again just bad quality.

I wish I could get my money back! I have pink and yellow paint explosion all over my ceiling and curtains. This is not a good design at all!

I am assuming that the past two reviews are just unlucky customers. I got these mugs for my girlfriend and I and we had no issues with the mugs being broken or the paint being difficult. Obviously with mugs like these you can put them in the dishwasher and hand wash only. I would recommend this, but just open the box in target and make sure the mugs aren’t broken.

The paint tubes come with a small plastic stopper that is nearly impossible to remove. When the tube was squeezed (as an attempt to remove it) the stopper acted as a small projectile landing right in my friends eye. The paint was all in her eye as well . Fortunately it was non toxic and after a thorough wash, her eye was back to normal (thank you for your concern). The point is, for a product easily marketed as a craft for children, the packaging is not user friendly and very difficult to use. Please think twice before purchasing, or at least open the paint before your kids begin creating thier masterpiece.
