Q: Does the wooden lid have some kind of seal or does it just rest on the dispenser?

Q: is the glass tempered safety glass? I see the hole there for the spout. is the glass tempered ?? if it breaks does it chatter into tiny pieces or large chards?

Q: Is there supposed to be a silicone seal of some sort under the lid? Mine does not have one and the lid just slides all over the place!!!

A pretty piece but the spout leaks. The spout also sits so close to the bottom you either have to position it to the edge of a table or find some type of stand for it. I had lemonade all over my floor within an hour.

I love this 2-gallon dispenser. It is a very nice modern design. The spigot is not plastic, which is important to me because I don't want plastic materials touching my water. The spigot is not removable and have not had any leaks. The lid is a nice wood design. It just sits on the top and makes it easy to fill up again.

I loved this dispenser immediately, the lid was warped from the start but it was still sturdy and the convenient to hold my distilled water. It’s been 9 months with no issues but now the spigot is leaking, tried tightening the bolt but nothing works so I’ll have to purchase a different beverage dispenser. Guess it was good while it lasted for $30.☹️

I love the chic design but you have to place by the sink because it leaks after every pour. You end up loosing at least a glass of drink by the time your out. The lid did warp when I prepared it and set in the fridge to chill. After a few days the lid straightened out on it it’s own left some cracks though.

I absolutely loved the design and the spout is perfect for my kids to use also. It was a little too big for my fridge but we rearranged the shelves to make space for it. I wanted a glass water dispenser and needed it to be big and easy for my children to get water. This one was just perfect and beautiful.

It’s a good item! But I really wish they made a drink stand for it, because the spout is so low that your only option really is to have it hang off the edge of a counter to pour the beverages, which is risky considering this is glass and maybe it just isn’t how you wanted your table setting to look.

When i first got this i was so excited to have a pretty water dispenser for parties, but i noticed an initial odor to the lid. I thought, "well, that's normal, i'm sure it was made recently in a factory! I'll give it a few days to air out and i'll wash it with vinegar and run it through the dishwasher!" I gave it a week and tried every cleaning method under the sun. Still, the water tasted like the cheap wood stain of the lid. So, I thought, "well, it was only $30, a cheap lid can be replaced," so i put a plate overtop to accomplish the same goal. It worked for the first day (no more wood stain taste), but by day two, the water that had sat in the dispenser had a new flavor, a sweet plastic flavor. Well, "maybe I should just let it soak for a while". So I did. I let it soak for three days, draining slowly to clean the spigot. NOTHING. WORKED. Don't waste your money on this thing. Wasn't able to return it, there goes $30 I'll never get back on a piece of garbage. Go to a restaurant supply store or something, so somewhere with quality materials, it'll probably cost the same.

Love this product. I’ve wanting one for years and finally bought one and Ive had it for a bit and no warping, I quickly wash and dry the lid to limit the chance of lid warping. The lid is slightly loose but does the job although wish the handle was a little taller and the spout is easy just a turn to the left and you can limit how much comes out. Just remember when you stop it will drip leftover drops so place a paper towel or dish. The glass isn’t too thin but remember to get a stand or jug holder as it will help on the table or counter level.

Bought this for someone’s wedding registry. I did drive up pick up and had the attendant place in the trunk of my suv. I got out of the car and went to the trunk to put in a gift bag. When I pulled it towards me in the bag, I instantly heard glass breaking. Disappointing!

The sun tea container that was smaller, and fit a single person household was cheap, and the stand it came in was even worse. I saw this nice, glass one, next to it. It is far too large for me, but I thought it would still fit in the fridge. I filled it almost halfway up and it made plenty. It fits nicely and the spigot seems to be made very well. A better fitting lid would be nice, this one just sits on top; but it's not worth a lower rating. While it's hilariously large for me, it works and it looks nice.

Top cover does not lock itself, it’s loosely placed on top, not that important really and because of the height of the thing, i realize it needs a stand. Size is alright, and leaks are inevitable because of the way the spout works. It’s not a game changer in both of my parties i used it in but the bronze spout is pretty

Love the look overall and capacity it holds for when hosting, except for the lid- it doesn’t seal correctly which an insect or bug can go inside jug.
