Description
Sun Zero Wylder Curtain Panel Pairs offer energy efficiency and elevated design with a strie texture complemented with a modern metal grommet top for easy hanging on a standard curtain rod up to 1.5" in diameter. Sun Zero Thermal Blackout Curtains are laboratory tested to block out most light, offer outside noise reduction by up to 25%, and decrease energy lost through your windows by up to 40%. Comfort is optimized with thermal properties that help keep summer heat and winter chill out of your home. Hang in your living room for enhanced privacy, or in your bedroom for a sounder, more uninterrupted sleep. Mount rods at least 2" above the window for maximum light blocking. Pair includes 2 pearl panels, each measuring 37" width by 84" length. Measure carefully before selecting your desired size and quantity. Rod not included. Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Use non-chlorine bleach when needed. Line Dry.

Does not block "nearly all light." There should be better regulations for how you can label a product. And of course most of the 5 star reviews are from a paid promotion. These do not black out any sunlight.

I think the product quality matches the price. These curtain panels are made of an inexpensive synthetic fiber. I purchased these curtains in [medium] gray. The packaging appears to advertize an honest light blocking feature of 3 out of 4. I purchased these curtains strictly for noise reduction in my walk-in closet, which doubles as a music recording studio. In 20/20 hind sight, it appears that 1 inch thick acoustic adsorbing foam panels will better suit my needs, therefore I will be returning these curtains. My final comment is that they appear to be a good light reducing (not 100% light blocking) option, especially for someone on a tight budget.
