A: Hello! Thank you for your interest in Boraam. There is a glossy finish to the wood parts of this set, so I would not recommend staining them. Also, any altering to the product will automatically void any warranties.

Style/details of table don’t match picture exactly. For the price, I don’t think it’s worth it. Thinking about returning it. 2 stars for assembly, which was easy enough.

Arrived as ordered. Large, heavy box with a smushed corner. Turns out one of the bags holding the hardware had opened IN the box and the washers were MIA. I made it work with my own washers. Also the picture doesn't show that a stool is the second part of the 2 piece set. There are also 2 bookends provided. This desk is perfect for the tiny space I needed it for. Would have been nice if it was not just raw wood...maybe sanded and a simple coating of some kind of sealant. Other than that, fantastic little desk.
