300 Thread Count Organic Cotton Percale Bed Sheet Set by Bare Home

Should have read the reviews on this one. Came here to say the same- scratchy and itchy. Made it two nights (and that’s only because I wasn’t getting the hubby out of bed to take them off in the middle of the second night!)

Very nice well-made sheets and quality, but not your old-fashioned traditional percale. They are not the crisp, stiff, body that defines a true percale. These are good as far as thread count but they are silkier, more like a sateen texture. If I wanted silky I would have purchased sateen or silkysoft sheets. I expected percale which is crisp and stiffer with more body. I.e. Remember our beloved Fieldcrest and Hotel brands? You can feel the cotton fibers under hand. I guess this is the new generation that wasn't introduced to tradition. Sad it's gone.

Sheets are nice and thick.l. They are slightly “noisy” but not too much. There is a chemical smell so I washed them twice. My main problem I the pillowcase; they are way too short. The picture shows how a small standard pillow hangs out of it. Also you can see it compared to another standard size pillow case

I’ve purchased these sheets in blue two years ago but decided to change my bedding. I purchased the white sheet set and after opening it had a horrible smell. It literally smelled like poop. My first set two years ago never had this issue. I ended up just tossing them in the washer and the smell came out. I love these sheets because they’re cooling and I’m a hot sleeper but the smell was concerning. I’m still debating if I want to sleep in them or return them even though the smell is gone.

I have a full size mattress and these sheets are too big.

Love the material of these sheets the pillow cases are not long enough to fit a standard pillow!? The pillow cases should be longer to FIT A STANDARD PILLOW!

these are the shades I’ve been looking for! Nice and crisp and cool! I tried some bamboo sheets, but they were like satiny silky, which I don’t like. They were too slippery and kept falling off the bed. If you like the feel of good hotel bedsheets, these are the ones for you! Love, love, love them!

These are exacltly what I was hoping for in a sheet. Great quality!

Yes, as other reviews state, they are scratchy, but it takes several washes for the sheets to soften. I had Bloomingdales percale sheets from decades ago that were like this. As for wrinkles, any all cotton sheet will wrinkle. My recommendation is to dry the fitted sheet separately, the flat sheet separately, and the pillowcases separately, and make sure you cool down for 5 minutes after heating and promply remove from dryer and lay out flat on bed (and you can fold them); then make bed hours later. You'll find the sheets will smooth out with little wrinkles. They don't take long to dry after a gentle wash/fast spin. They are nice quality sheets and I don't find them thin at all. Fitted sheet is a little loose but not bad and that can depend on your mattress.

For the price of this, the quality is not good at all. It easily collects lint and gets wrinkly as well. Don't recommend it.

Color looks absolutely nothing like the photo. I ordered the taupe color and it’s grey in person.

Sheets are nice quality but cool to the touch, don’t recommend them for Winter. They really feel cold when getting in them, never had sheets that feel cold before.

I love these sheets. They are soft, smooth, and high quality. They are organic, which I truly appreciate. And the French Beige color matches my linen duvet perfectly!

I ordered the dusty rose color and they are beautiful in person. Very comfortable and smooth. The packaging by the company was very nice too, they were folded nicely in a reusable canvas tote which was a nice surprise.

I really wanted to love these sheets. The color is just what I was looking for, but they are not as soft as I’d like. I’ve tried washing them a few times to break them in, but they are still kind of crisp. Laying in bed at night, you can hear them crinkling when we roll over or move around & it wakes me up sometimes. I wish they had more of an organic cotton feel. I’m kind of disappointed I spent as much as I did on these. I don’t think they are worth the price & I wish I had returned them before washing them.

So hard to find decent sheets! These are a bit oversized and look sloppy on the bed, flat sheet hangs too low and the fitted sheet is loose and frumpy, hard to find one that fits right, previous sets I’ve had were too tight! Arg. Also kind of itchy and stiff…. Bummer, probably sending back.

Super crisp!!! They feel and sound clean and fresh. They are smooth and soft but have a little subtle texture which is perfect for us (not a fan of sateen). They are wrinkly coming out of the dryer but completely comfortable to sleep on. So happy with them and may purchase another set!

Fantastic feel and a vibrant color. The nicest percale sheets, with a lovely smooth texture. I love the envelope pillow so my longer pillows don’t stick out. The fitted sheet is quite deep to accommodate thick mattresses. I’ll definitely be buying from Bare home again. I got the Bering sea and dusty rose, my only complaint would be that the color of the rose is not accurate in the photo. It is not as muted in person.

Keep in mind these are NOT the thin cheap microfiber or thin Egyptian cotton sheets with a sateen finish. These are nice thick crisp cotton percale sheets. They wrinkle and crinkle and are as close to the old time sheets that I have found yet!!
