Hand washing is recommended for vacuum insulated stainless steel water bottles because the heat from a dishwasher can damage the seals on the bottle, which can allow air to enter and compromise the bottle's ability to keep things hot or cold. Q: Can you confirm the dimensions of this 32 oz. bottle? the description says 10.24" X 3.11". but the 24 oz. version is barely any different (10.19" X 3.11") which doesn't seem accurate?

I would have given this 5 stars if it was the size it's supposed to be. The 24 oz isn't 24 oz. either (see photo with Takeya on left and All in Motion on right). It's significant for me because I have a drink next to me all day and don't want to keep hopping up.

So, our son has been using the Takeya water bottle with the twist-off cap for years. This style is very similar to that, but much more affordable. And honestly I like this one better. For our son’s junior baseball league this spring/summer, I needed a large, durable water bottle for him with a tight seal and good insulation that wasn’t super heavy and wasn’t going to break the bank. We had bought a smaller version last year for our daughter, for soccer, and it held up nicely (until we lost it, ha). Once I saw these back in stock, and in larger sizes, I knew this would be perfect for our son. The tight seal is good knowing it’ll be thrown on the ground and probably kicked around in the dirt, which is also why I didn’t want to spend a lot on it. But it was also important this be metal, so it would keep ice water icy through our hot and humid MN summer with no condensation on the outside. It has done the trick so far! Two reasons I like it better than Takeya: 1) the twist cap is square, not round, and has a softer, grippy texture that is great for sweaty hands, and 2) the silicone base actually stays on the water bottle. Overall, I highly recommend this!

I got this water bottle as a workout water bottle. I liked the size. I knew it was insulated but that's not really why I bought it. I got it on clearance. I got it for a great deal. Yesterday, the city that I live in issued a boil water order. My son decided to boil water and he filled my water bottle with boiled water and stuck it in the fridge. It sat in the fridge over 12 hours. This morning I open the fridge grab my water bottle thinking I'm going to have cold water. Nope, the water is hot from 12 hours ago.
