Q: Do these bowls craze easily?

A: Hello Pat - We appreciate your interest in this item. This item is microwave and dishwasher safe and has passed the standards for Target’s testing protocols so it won’t craze easily under normal/gentle use. That being said, ceramic is inherently a fragile material, and if this item is placed under too much force or rough handling it could crack. Hope this is helpful. – Alvin

This are the perfect bowl/plate I have been looking for! The image makes them look white but they are in fact a lovely gray. I hope they don’t chip as other reviews mentioned. Also do not purchase if you expect them to line up perfectly as they are not symmetrical

These bowls are great for pasta or rice type meals. I have the whole set and we love them. They're great in the dishwasher and have no chipped at all. If you're picky- you may want to pick them out in stores though because there are some shape and color variations.

Perfect size for pastas, salads, or any dish really. Love the look! Be careful when heating up in the microwave—they tend to get very warm to the touch compared to other dishes I own. Also keep in mind they are on the heavier side.

These bowls look nice, but if you drop and break one, you get tiny shards all over your kitchen. I spent hours vacuuming, mopping, cleaning pet bowls, mats, fountain, etc. In spite of being careful, I managed to slice a finger in the cleanup. I would rather pay more and get something that breaks cleanly.
