What a disappointment. Looks great, smells very nice when you have your nose buried into the dry wax... but that scent gets completely lost when it's burning. I burned this thing for 6 hours and could only smell it when I was right over the top of it. I think the vessel is a poor choice - the tapered opening at the top is too wide for a single wick to melt the wax to the edge, so the wax will tunnel as it melts (not a desirable effect). Also, the scent is much more floral than fruity - magnolia, lily, lilac are the scents I smell from this. The wicks in all the candles were off center, and even though I picked the most centered looking one, it created an off-center melt (I straightened it when the wax was melted enough). I would normally think that trying the scent in a different vessel might make a better experience, but this scent is not detectable when burned, so I would say that I do not recommend this one

I really enjoy the Rainwater & Lily candle. It has a pleasantly light fragrance that’s just right for me, as I prefer subtle scents over heavy, overpowering ones. While some reviewers mention it has no throw, I think it offers a gentle, refreshing aroma that fills the space without being overwhelming. If you’re sensitive to stronger scents, this candle might be a perfect match for you! On the other hand, the quality could be better. While I like the glass, some pours are messy, with wax on the sides, and the scent labels are often crooked, which affects the overall look.

This candle has a beautiful smell. However, the scent is not intense. Perfect for someone who likes floral and fruity smells that are not strong. Reminds me of yankee candle pink sands. I think it works better under a candle warmer. This way you can smell solely the wax and none of the burn from the wick. The quality could be better for the price. I would not recommend purchasing again for $18. $10 maybe.

For a luxury scented candle, these did not hold their scent at all. Dont waste your money! I had the largest one and two smaller lit in my home and you could not tell that they were intended to be scented candles. Not impressed at all. I asked my husband if he could smell them after he came back from a grocery run and he couldn’t tell they were lit, like $80 for candles

Just like everyone else said, smells good in store then no smell when lit. Plus it tunnels so not an even burn.

If you are hoping to fill your space with the scent it doesn't do anything. Does not make your room smell like anything. I had it lite for 2 hours and did not notice the candle scent.

I bought three different fragrances in store. They smelled so nice in the jar, but I knew by the price point that I was taking a risk. Sure enough, zero throw. No one in my family can smell these at all when lit, even after burning awhile.

We loved the smell in Target but burning it is terrible. The initial smell is bad and as it burns it just smells like nothing.

I liked how it smelled in-store. However, this candle doesn’t diffuse any scent in the room. Zero smell— only the smell of smoke after blowing it out. It also takes a long time for the candle to melt all the way to the edges on the first light, so you will most likely get tunneling.

I bought this as a gift for Thanksgiving for our friend goodie bag. They all love the smell. It is not too strong or too weak. It is perfect and smells great for the holidays!

Light, fresh, fills the ruin beautifully. I like burning this candle at night especially when it’s snowing.

i like target candles for affordability and i love this scent in particular. however recently they’ve been burning very poorly. they always burn through the center and never all the way to the edges. this is just a waste of candle.

If I could give it 0 stars I would! This candle smelled amazing when I was in target, I was so excited to light it when I got home. The first time lighting it I didn’t smell much at all but was willing to give it another try. We are now on day 3 and it smells like absolutely nothing. I have a small living space so I don’t understand. I’ve had much cheaper candles that fill the entire room, you’re better off getting the Chesapeake candles.

This candle smells light and lovely not lit. The smell is not super strong, but once it is lit there is no smell filling the room. My livingroom is not huge and I would expect this bigger size candle fill the room. I also have the same scent in a smaller version in my closed room, but still also NO SMELL WHEN LIT. I had tried Magnolia candles, same issue. No smell when lit, but smells great when I first smelled it in store. I had origonally tried the Opal line but they burned awful. I am not sick, so sense of smell is there. Not sure what is going on.
