Q: In the description it says "This solid wood shelf in a dark brown finish" even though Black is the chosen color. So, the question is. it it actually black or is it dark brown? There is a difference.

Overall a decent shelf. Slightly overpriced for what they are. Made of relatively thin wood. I wish the mounting brackets had holes all along the metal bracket to allow more flexibility with mounting into studs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with the look of this natural wood shelf! It was so easy to put up (once I found the studs) and I love the fact that is is 36 inches long. I was able to fit a good amount of items without it looking too cluttered. Having the rod bracket to screw into the wall was so much easier to handle than I expected and I didn't need any help, other than help to hold it up while I secured it to the wall. After that it's just lining up the shelf onto the bracket and done! I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Floating Wood Shepf by Threshold in Natural Wood finish. This addition has spruced up my sons nursery and especially the changing table area. I can also have additional space for wipes, diapers or anything else I may need extra space for as we go. The price is absolutely perfect. I feel like this one thing added so much value to the room for way less than other shelving options. It also has a metal brace that the shelf actually slides onto making it extra sturdy and especially easy to mount. If you are even considering getting this, just do it. I promise you won’t regret it. I received an incentive to write this review.

I love the natural wood color, matches the nursery theme I have pretty perfectly. Only confusing part was that there were two long screws not used and not sure what their purpose was so I hope I did it right. it would definitely have been easier to put up with a buddy.
