Q: how long is the electric cord? how difficult to assemble?

A: Hi there - the cord is 7-feet long. It's not hard to assemble. You remove the base and shade from the box, tighten by hand the shade onto the base pole, put in the bulb, and plug it in. Hope that helps answer your question!

A: Hi Ann - that note is part of the Target page template. There's really not much to putting this together. You remove the base and shade from the box, tighten by hand the shade onto the base pole, put in the bulb, and plug it in. Hope that helps answer you question. Thank you for asking!
