Q: There's a Prop65 warning on this product. Are there chemicals such as lead in this lamp and if so what part(s) of the lamp contain the chemicals? Thank you
A: Hi - We understand the Prop 65 warning may alarm some consumers. California Law requires this warning be listed on any product that is shipping to the state of California or used within the state. Please note this does not mean that our products are dangerous, however, it is required by the state to display such a label on any and all products. This is a warning you may have also seen in other retail stores and businesses throughout California. The list of Prop 65 is quite lengthy and therefore makes it impossible for any company to test all items that California requires. With that said, this label must be adhered to all and any merchandise sold to consumers within the state.

Q: will this. mercury glass lamp change over time. I have read reviews of this kind of glass. also is it a really shiny glass like a mirror?
A: Hi - no, the glass on this design will not change over time. The surface does have some shine and reflection to it, but we would not say that it is as shiny as a mirror surface or a mirrored lamp base. Thank you for the questions!

Q: how tall should a table lamp be, what looks good?
A: Hi - height for a table lamp is dependent on a number of factors: how high the table is the lamp will be placed on; if you will use the lamp while sitting or lying, and so on. No matter if you are sitting or reclining, you should not be able to see the neck of the lamp or the bulb, which could cause glare. The scale of the lamp is another important thing to keep in mind. A small table lamp will be lost in a large roomSo get an idea of what size looks good for your room space and then look for lamps in that general height range. Hope this helped! Thank you for the question.

Q: Does this lamp use a 150 watt 3 WAY bulb? Or does it simply have capacity for 150 watts with on/off only?
A: Hi - this design does not have a 3-way socket. It can use up to a 150 watt bulb, but has an on-off switch at the socket. However, if you are looking for greater lighting control we would suggest using a cord dimmer with the lamp. Doing so will allow you to set the light level to whatever you want, giving you much greater control than a 3-way bulb. Thank you for the question.
