I bought mine 2 months ago. It works well until yesterday when the switch stops working. Now I cannot turn the light off. Based on other good reviews, maybe mine is a defect.

Perfect for a variety of lighting needs because of the dimmer switch. It is very solid and weighted so it will not tip over easily. I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase. Very easy to assemble. Feels really solid and well-made. Keep in mind that the LED light is a built-in and it's not replaceable.

This lamp is terrific! It produces a wonderful, warm light and from a distance, looks a little like the Starship Enterprise! Its lines are sleek and minimal. It's easy to swerve around from one place to another when I need more light on the subject here or there. It takes up almost no room so it can fit anywhere. It's are terrific light! I'm soooooo happy with it!
