I wanted an old fashioned looking floor lamp and the picture indicated that this might be it. It is made cheaply. The shade is not white, but off white and I should have been more mindful of the height of the lamp. It will serve its purpose for now, but it is a cheaply made facsimile of an antique floor lamp.
