I’m sure this shelving unit would have been nice if it had been manufactured correctly. The super convenient pre-drilled holes were completely nonexistent on some of the pieces near the end of the build. So, I had put the core shelves together, and then I come across the side panels only to find that there is no way to install them. I don’t know how that detail was missed, but of course I ended up finding & buying the one set that wasn’t made right. Had to take it all apart and repackage it for a store return. Target is great and makes the return process very hassle-free, it was just annoying going through the whole searching/buying/building/taking-apart/returning process! Ultimately, I found a larger, sturdier cube shelving unit on Walmart’s website that was $70 less and looks a lot nicer.

Easy to put together. good quality overall for the money except the flimsy cardboard back that barely fits on the back and essentially stabilizes the whole shelving system.

Easy to assemble. It’s a one person build. Delivery was several days longer than expected but arrived in good condition. We’ll be buying a second one soon.
Instructions are wrong. Sturdy cheap shelf- no anti tip mechanism or bracket.

Decent cube shelf. Wish cubes were bigger and it came with an anti-tip bracket for my 2 year old sons room. Also would have been better if instructions were correct and it didn’t take double the time to build it. Not sure I would buy it again. Just know the instructions are incorrect so go with your brain!

This cube is fine for small books and odd objects. I got a little turned around when I attached the metal stand and had to start new holes, because I was confused by the instruction drawing at that step. Generally, the instructions were clear, but you have to be careful to examine all aspects of the drawing, as there are important notes in corners. The covers for the screw holes are tacky.
