Original Large Home Sweet Home Jar Candle 22oz - Yankee Candle

I Love the scent of this candle when glowing in my home! However, I LOVE ❤️ it even more, and thrilled I chose to purchase it when my guests rave about “how wonderful the house smells” upon entering! It’s so welcoming, feeling “right at home” when visiting, making me so Happy!!!

There was no fragrance when burning this candle like there used to be. What happened ? I'm a long time Yankee candle customer. Major disappointment. There cheaper now apparently so is the quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fine Home Sweet Home to be very relaxing. Don’t let the word “sweet” in its name give you the wrong idea. The scent is subtle, never over-powering. Provides nice ambiance.

Ordered three candles. All arrived completely destroyed into glass shards. Whoever packed this order threw them into a box without packing materials. The online return process failed each time I tried it, I had to spend another half an hour on the phone to get a refund. Complete waste of my time.

I picked this candle out after giving it a sniff in the store. The solid wax had a balanced smell of sweet and spicy. But, when I burned it, all I smelled was the clove. If you love clove, this is the candle for you. But if you are looking for the notes of cinnamon and tea, you won't be able to smell them. At least I didn't.

This candle has a really warm and welcoming glow. The candle burns evenly all the way to the bottom.

This is my favorite scent of the Yankee Candles! It’s aroma is quite pleasant and covers a large area with the smell.

I remember my older sister always had this candle burning especially around/during the holidays. She still does! I feel like the scent isn't quite as strong as it once was when burning but that could be me getting older. ;) The cinnamon, sweet apple, tiny notes of wood, and clove round it out. So welcoming and comforting. I could burn this year round! The scent lingers even after you extinguish the candle. Love it!!!

I had bought this candle for my mom for Christmas. It would have originally came before Christmas, but when I was tracking the order it said it was on a train that derailed and wouldn't arrive on time. The candle ended up coming a week late and the top part of the candle was broken in to pieces. When I went through the return process they said they would ship me another candle for free and I could keep the broken one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am finishing burning this candle as I write this review. I was expecting a much more robust scent given the fragrance notes. This candle is weak with a relatively low throw. Yankee Candle needs to start labeling candles with an expected HI, MEDIUM, or LOW throw/intensity label because this is becoming more of an issue with several scents. I have been burning this candle in a small 40 sq ft bathroom, and I can barely smell it. I'm not here to waste time and money on "scented" candles that barely smell.
