Don't buy this .. a lot of the pieces were scratched , the drawers don't align properly so everything looks sloppy and the top of the desk doesn't latch on preperly bc the screws don't lock

I initially had a disappointing experience with the 39”W Retro Wooden Makeup Vanity Set due to some issues with the product color and missing parts. However, after reaching out to customer service, I was pleasantly surprised by their prompt and helpful response. They worked with me to replace the set and addressed my concerns quickly and professionally. While the original vanity had some flaws, the replacement has been much better, and I appreciate the effort put into resolving the situation. I purchased the 39"W Retro Wooden Makeup Vanity Set with high hopes, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. First off, this is not walnut; the color is more like cherry and doesn’t even come close to matching the product photo. It feels like a complete sham. To make matters worse, several screw dowels were missing, forcing me to hunt them down on Amazon just to complete the assembly. After all the effort, I discovered the drawers don’t fit properly, and the whole piece is covered in scratches. The color is so off, it's frustrating to even look at. I should have returned it immediately instead of wasting time trying to make it work. I completely agree with another reviewer who mentioned the same issues: missing parts, scratched front panels, and no option for replacement—only a refund after disassembling the entire set and returning it. I am beyond disappointed, tired, and angry. This purchase was a huge mistake. Avoid this product at all costs.

Poor quality, missing pieces, and different from the pictures

I received the vanity today. After I assembled it, I was disappointed to discover that some of the screw dowels are missing, and the front panels are scratched. I would like Target to replace the scratched panels and send me the missing dowels, but there is no such option. They will refund me only after I return the item. I am NOT going to disassemble the whole thing and put it in a box again. Disappointed, tired, and angry.
