I use these for line work and mark making on illustrations, journal drawings, and fine art. I actually prefer these over competitors. I always keep spares on hand and in fact need to order more.

I enjoy using my Tombow pens! The ink comes out evenly and doesn't smear. They last a long time and Tombow has an excellent choice of tip sizes. I recommend all the Tombow pens to anyone who loves creative lettering or drawing.

I absolutely love these pens! When using to doodle and fill in with Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pens, these are superior to Sakura Micron's in that the Tombow Monoline's do not smudge. If they do, I have yet to experience that. The only thing I do not like is the barrel size. I tend to work better with smaller barrels, and the circumference on the Monoline is large compared to the Micron. Overall, I love them. At least enough to buy 10 backups! ??

Great combination of nib sizes. Will use the .05 most so maybe a pack with 2X.05/.03/.01 would be popular? In any event, the Tombow excellence is present in all respects: ink flow, pen comfort, absorbtion of ink on paper, etc... Happy to have purchased!!
You need these pens!

I love the variety in size. I use them when I’m bullet journaling. The ink is very pigmented but I love how it dries quickly... there is no ghosting on 120-160gsm pages. I definitely recommend them... they are durable and excellent quality. A must have for beginners and experts... useful when drawing and adding details to your artwork!

So far, one pen ran out of ink within 10 minutes. I am only on the second pen and hope it was just a lemon.

I love the drawing pens! There was a noticeable difference in the quality of my artwork when I started using them. I’m able to achieve the style I want and my art is more consistent. I love that I can create something exactly as I imagine it in my head with these pens, as they are fine enough for me to do small details and draw incredibly smoothly. Great pens, would definitely buy again!
Good drawing/outlining pens that don't bleed.

I have actually not even opened the package yet, as this was purchased along with a single one of the pens included, to act as a back-up when that one finally ran out of ink, but the single one is somewhat better than what I was using previously, as the ink in that one would at times, bleed into the other color when gone over with the coloring marker. It is also just a bit shorter than what I had been expecting, but that is a minor concern. It is comfortable in my hand, and is a very good product for using in drawing or outlining.

Product came in the next day! They’re great and work very well, better than my micron. I like that they’re smooth and easy to manage. Thank you!

I recommend the MONO Drawing Pens. There is a click when you re-cap them. I accidentally didn’t close the cap all the way on the 05, and I found it had dried out! However, since they are water based, I wet the tip with a little bit of water and scribbled onto a surface until it wrote again. Now it works just as good as before, and I’ve had no issues with it since (elapsed time: ~3-4 months). The ink is very bold and consistent and whether I’m writing, scribbling, or coloring, there are no streaks or need for additional pressure. The nib for the 01 is very prone to bending, perhaps because it is so small. I’m not a heavy handed writer, but I found this non to be more fragile than the other two. Proceed with caution. Other than the frail nib, these pens are great.
Amazing multitasking pens

One of my goals this year was to minimize the number of pens I carry with me on a regular basis. These have helped me do that I can use them in my planner with no bleeding or ghosting and I can also use them to ink my drawings and zentangle. Definitely a win!

These are by far my favorite drawing pens for when I’m making any art piece, comic strips, character profiles, commissions—you name it. I use this pen set, several of my Tombow Dual Brush sets, and even some other Tombow items like the Mono Zero round eraser for better precision. These pens are amazing with all Tombow items, don’t bleed, don’t smear, dry quickly, and leave a great finished look even when they’re saturated with other heavy colors. I’ll always buy these pens for my work.
