I wish target would make an even smaller bowl specially for keeping a small surface area for dipping sauce. However, I feel like I lucked out with the Avesta 8oz mini bowls as an alternative to these. They both have roundly the same bottom surface area, but the 8oz has taller sides so can also be used for more snacks and yogurt. Both feel a little wide for sauces but get the job done.

These are such versatile little cups! Perfect add to a charcuterie for spreads/jam/nuts/capers. We use them for family movie nights, kids can “fill all the way up!” With candy and it’s still an appropriate amount (elementary school). My only complaint is that they don’t safely stack more than 2 high, so they take up a lot of cabinet space.

I searched for the perfect dip bowls for over a good month before I stumbled upon these on accident at target. I’ve had them for around 2 years now and I still love them. They are the perfect dip, sauce, pinch, and/or ingredient bowls! Highly recommend. We wash them in the dish washer and after two years of constant use they still look brand new.
