Not what I expected and am afraid to sit on the bench

The actual table is a lot smaller than I thought it would be but overall it was what I expected. Very tedious to put together. My biggest issues is the all of the stickers that I’m having to actually scrap off 🙄

I bought this to replace a hand me down table. My house is small and a corner nook table was the best option for space. This is exactly what I wanted. It was fairly easy to assemble with a screwdriver. I had some help from my spouse but I was mostly able to assemble myself. It’s perfect for the price.

This product was easy to assemble. It look very elegant in our kitchen and perfect for dinner with the kids. It's enough space for use all to sit and interact with each other.

Showed up BROKEN! Had to wait for a secondary shipping company called EFW to pick up so I could return it. Once it was picked up Target still did not process my refund. I now do not have the broken table or my money. Target is slowly losing my business.

You’re going to want your own glue, cabinet paint, and a clear coat. Assembling by yourself is possible, but not preferred. The pieces like everyone else has stated do arrive scuffed already. One spot was even painted over in a different black and was textured pretty bad. Once you assemble the corner seat, the instructions will say not to move it. They also have you glue in one of those pieces to the corner, so keep in mind that you most likely can not move it into a new home in the future. We’re a military family so I pretty much bought a table that I would have to physically break apart to return, or to just put in the trash in just a few months and have regrets. Also the seat storage is dangerous for toddlers. You can put a wedge piece to keep them from smashing fingers but there’s no piece that is flush to the lids so you can’t child proof it in any other way.

I love this table. Its good quality for the price you pay. There are a few things I love and didnt like about it so ill give a run down. I think people who reviewed this did not give it an accurate rating due to their preferances so id like to make one that gives a good and bad side. I had been looking for this style table for months. This one was the most affordable and cheapest one from target and or amazon. It came in 4 seperate boxes ( 2 for the nook, 1 for the table, and 1 for then bench). It definitly takes 2 peple to put together and a few hours of time. You'll need a screw driver and I would reccomend better wood glue then what is provided. DONT USE A POWER DRILL it is to fast and harsh and will definitly split the wood, a hand screwdriver was good enough to get everything tight and together! One piece did come broken but it was easy to fix with some wood glue and has not presented a problem. Mine is on carpet so I have had no issues with it being wobbly, but this may be different on flat solid flooring. The storage is perfect underneath the seating. The quality of table top finish is again what you pay for. I put a cloth table cloth on it and only use coasters as water or even fingers can leave marks. Its comfortable and very good seating for 4-6 people. You can change the long or short side of the Nook part very easily. Again I love what I got for what I paid for. If you want something higher quality you'll need to pay much more for something different. So for the price I think its a Great Table set. Definitly time consuming to put together but thats to be expected! Love it and cannot wait to make memories play board games with friends on my corner nook.

The table is missing and instructions. I'm very disappointed. I have contacted target about the missing table and still waiting for a response.

To be completely honest, you know what you are buying when getting a set like this. The quality can be a bit lacking, but honestly the customer service is extremely quick to respond and help when you are missing pieces or have damaged pieces. I was missing 1 piece and had damage on 4 major components and I emailed them and it they sent it out next day.

Ive been looking for a black cornernook set and Target had the perfect one for $100 cheaper than Amazon.

This isn't so bad for the price. It was a bit difficult to assemble, I didn't have as difficult of a time as other reviewers. I assembled it by myself, it would have been easier with another person, but it is possible to assemble alone. The table can easily be assembed by one person, the bench was tricky. The instructions aren't great, but if you take it one step at a time, read it carefully, and look at the photos, it's fine. One of my back panels came upside down. There is only one way the back pieces can be assembled and they drilled the holes on the wrong side of the smaller bench. After the trouble of assembling, I'm just going to deal with it. This isn't the most sturdy table, it's definitely cheap. You will want to be careful with it and use it lightly. My family of 4 will destroy this in 1-2 years if we aren't careful. It's a bit small but comfortably fits my family of 4. The storage boxes are not sturdy at all. You will only be able to keep napkins or something light in them. I do like that the bottom of the bench has a cut out for molding and will fit snuggly against the wall. The black color really picks up every smudge and finger print. It also scratches really easily. Do not assemble on a floor that can cause scratches because i damaged the bench with scratches while it was on my floor. I might have chose a different color if i bought this again. This came unassembled in several boxes and the boxes were delivered over several days.

Many manufactured parts were not built right. Replacement parts are taking a while to come as well. Table is nice but the hassle of it has been horrible

Not happy with quality of table

CHEAP MATERIAL!! Pieces of the table broke while putting it together & has been a wobbly, blown out mess ever since. Waste of money 100% i wish I could return it i get my money back.

Please do not order this!! So cheap!! I can’t believe the money spent for it to just tear apart when moving it. Cheap particle board.

Love the seating space.

Loved the look and being on the small side it fit me perfectly, my husband was just too tall for it!

Idk why everyone gave this such bad reviews. This is awesome for the price point.

5 star! I bought the 3 piece nook set and absolutely love it. My girls store their ate supplies in the convenient seat drawer making clean up a breeze. The quality is fantastic and holds up to kids play. Fits perfectly in a corner and will enjoy this piece as my girls grow, making art and spending time together. Highly recommend this adorable set !
