Sat on this piece of junk one day and it flipped and snapped togerther and broke one of the holders underneath. Worse still, caught a piece of my skin underneath and ripped it out. Absolute junk - avoid.

This bed is sturdier than you would think. I have been using it for over a year and it's held up. I only added a mattress pad bc it's a little thin. Great for a spare room

I'll admit it definitely looks cheaply made so of course I had to add extra cushion on the mattress. Definitely doesn't seem like memory foam material but it gets the job done. I would advise whoever sleeps it to make sure when they go to sit on it, sit in the middle, if not the metal rod supporting the bed will collapse and you'll go tumbling. This happened to my 70lb stepson who uses it when he comes over. Also it did not come with the latch to hold it together when it's folded up so that was disappointing

Needed this for when my soldier son came home for Christmas. I loved that this has wood slats so it doesn't creek when in use. I don't know much about the mattress, we put a reg twin mattress over the mattress that came with it and we also added at 2in lucid memory foam topper. My son said it was so comfortable. Ordering a cover for it today and looking forward to future visits from my son! Didn't come with instructions so I had to look at the picture on the box to figure out how to put it together. But it was incredibly simple! Bed is already together, you just add the wheels and snap on a few other little parts.
