Q: How loud is the alarm and what is the alarm sound, ie. bell, buzzer, etc.? Will the alarm continue to sound until you shut it off? Does it have a snooze button?

A: Hi BamaMomma. I apologized for the delay in responding back to you. I just joined the company and I will be responding to any customer questions that are left in the portal going forward. In response to your questions, in terms of how loud the alarm ring is, I would say the sound is fair to moderate. It solely depends on the type of sleeper you might be. With this model clock, the sound of the alarm are bells ringing and not a buzzing or a vibrating sound. To turn off the alarm you would simply slide the switch to the off position which is located on the back of the clock. And as for a snooze button, these types of clocks usually doesn't come with one. Reliable windup alarm clock with easy-to-use key. Runs for over 12 hours on full wind. Might run a bit slow out of the 12, but easy to adjust. Great travel too. Highly recommended!

This alarm clock is extremely loud. It gets my hard sleeper teenager up. Unfortunately this is the exact 3rd alarm clock we bought in hopes maybe is was a defect. But now we know this alarm clock does not last more than 6months. We’ve put new batt in it’s never been dropped or liquid spilt in it. It’s just not reliable.

received this clock & the box sounded like something was making noise. when I opened it up one of the 2 legs it stands on was off the clock. upon further inspection whatever holds the leg on was inside the clock rattling around. I returned the clock to my Target store & received a refund on my card. Easy & no hassle!

It is really cute and well made. I like how easy it is to read. The size was perfect for my bathroom shelf. It is not silent however. I got it to use in my bathroom though so I am ok with that. I don't think that I could sleep with its sound. Just something to consider if you need silence to sleep.
