Arrived with a couple of small edge (corner) defects, but nothing that couldn't be hidden with a Sharpie. Well-designed and packaged. Not sure how the edge corners were damaged; didn't notice any obvious corner damage on the shipping carton and didn't really notice the damage until assembly was underway. As has been the case with other Sauder products, assembly instructions were well-presented in accompanying documentation.

Fit together perfectly. Instructions were perfect. Showed how every piece fits so you do not get it wrong. No nicks in any of the pieces. All the hardware was there. If there was one thing that could be improved, the eight silver pins could fit a little tighter. They will fall out when moving the boards to put together.

Took me hours to put this together. The screws are cheap and difficult to actually secure some pieces together. By the time I actually finished, the drawers run into each other. There was also a chip in the top of the paint on the wood dresser. Its a shame given it was brand new. I will never buy anything from Sauder again!

Assembly was very difficult and you definitely need to people to complete it. Not all of the holes were pre-drilled, and if I didn't have an electric drill to add in more holes myself assembly would not of been possible. Assembly is also very difficult just using a screw driver; i'd recommend using a drill for that as well.
It is extremely heavy, and can not be carried up the stairs alone. No idea how this is going to be carried out of the apartment now that it is assembled. The fact that it was not correctly pre-drilled and how heavy it is, I would not of bought this if I had known these things. It was too heavy/difficult for me to return otherwise I would have.
