A: Hey there, All new foam products can have a new smell when they are first opened, especially as they expand. This smell is completely harmless and should dissipate very quickly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea what I was missing in my life, but wow is this a game changer for quality sleep! The instructions recommend 48 hours to fully expand, but it didn't really take more than a few hours. The foam is quite firm but has just enough give to feel like you're gently melting into when you lay down. It also seems to bounce right back within a couple seconds after I get up. I haven't noticed anything remarkable in regards to breathability, but it did seem to absorb less body heat than my current mattress.

I've had this topper for about 16 months. I didn't like it when I got it, but returning was too difficult so I kept it. It's very, very stiff. It's so firm and the recovery of the foam is so slow that it's like a work out to turn over. There was a period of about 5 months where it seemed to loosen up and it was comfortable, kind of. Now it's breaking down and not providing any support at all. I just feel the hard bed underneath. It's really been a bad experience from the start. Also, Google fiberglass and Lucid mattress for a scare. Don't take the cover off! I can say with 100% certainty that I'd never buy this brand again.

However, if it is too firm to sleep on now, you can speed up this process by placing your mattress on the floor and walking on it with bare or socked feet repeatedly. I've had another style in the 3 inch that I really liked but this style in the 4 inch is horrible. My body feels like someone beat me. I would be better off sleeping on the floor. It's so hard and I feel sore in the morning when I wake up. I would not recommend this one at all.

I Decided To Try This Since It Had Good Reviews. After Setting It Up And Allowing It To Fully Inflate I Really Did Think It Would Be A Good Addition To My Bed, But It's Actually Quite Horrible. It Doesnt Have Enough Support. You Sink In Soo Deeply That It's Like Sleeping In A Hole. And The Foam Is Incredibly Slow At Bouncing Back, So Changing Positions During The Night Is Difficult. This Can't Be Good For Anyone's Spine So I'm Skeptical About These Great Reviews. Now I Have To Figure Out What To Do With This Thing, How Do You Return This? If Target Would Even Take It Back? Cuz It Aint Cheap!

All memory foam holds body heat but this hasn't ripped nor discolored, it withholds babies and toddlers playing on it. Only disappointment is, even with a grip, no-slip cover, it ALWAYS slides off the mattress. Works well for injured neck and back discs.

This is amazing!! Bought for my daughter, whose mattress is not so great. It expanded quickly and evenly. No noticeable scent when we opened it, which was nice because I know some memory foam smells.
