40" Costa Library Hutch Coffee Oak - Sauder: Cottage-Inspired, Office Storage, Arched Design

Used in our home office on top of a library base. Side pieces were missing some of the drilled holes. Called Sauder and they sent new pieces out the next day.

Have just assembled our two hutches and they went together just fine. One is already attached to a library base. Love the color! Wish there was a brace across the top of the back to put additional nails in the backboard.

Nice product little cheap on cam covers that don't want to stay or fit

I love the extra storage that I have when I added this to my library base. Perfect for storing office supplies and books. Easy to assemble as well.

Fairly easy to put together. It got a little confusing when to attach the hutch to the cabinet (based on info in the instruction books for each piece) but once it came together, it is a nice cabinet with shelves.

The directions are thorough but can sometimes be tricky. We made a few mistakes and needed replacement parts. Sauder aided us quickly and we was able to finish our project and it looks great!

I bought this library hutch (two of them actually) to pair with the two new Costa lateral files, which were bought to replace the one Sauder lateral file we've been using for 20 years. We needed a second one and the first one was rather beat up after having so many things put on it (even a small ""college sized"" refrigerator at one point) and being relocated throughout the house so many times over the years. I love the quality of the finish. It was not easily marred during assembly. Assembly instructions were a little confusing in a couple spots but the diagrams were adequate to figure it out. It was packaged the best I've ever seen furniture packaged and arrrived in perfect condition. I LOVED having the hardware prepackaged and labeled for me. The product is very sturdy and attractive. Since the computer desk isn't made in coffee oak, I paired it with a solid wood (not MDF) desk and they look great together. Can't tell Sauder is any different. The only things keeping this from being a 5-star review is that the back piece when unfolded is not perfectly even, so despite having nailed it firmly against the top edge, I had to put a strip of dark poster board along half the back at the top to keep from seeing a very thin line of light. The decorative plastic hidden cam covers are very flimsy and I had to be extremely careful when pressing/lightly tapping them in place or the plastic would get misshaped (kind of mashed or bent to the side). I would definitely purchase this again should I have to set up another home office.

It has been this way for over 30 days with no anticipated time-line on when the inventory will be replenished.

Nice quality pieces of furniture

They seem to have cut corners on the cam lock covers, non included for under the shelves which means you will be looking at silver cam locks once you sit down and can see under those shelves at chair level.

I purchased a hutch with a base and a desk. They were packaged incredibly well. Nothing was damaged. It took me a week to put them together. The directions were quite good, but still I found a couple of places confusing. These products are not easy to put together. The main issue I have with the products is that they are stained with such a thin layer of color, they scratch easily. Considering the price, this should not be the case.

Beautiful color and style. Looks much more expensive than it is. Steep learning curve to assembly but not too bad.
