42" 3 Section Wide Bookshelf Espresso - Winsome

I have several of these bookcases, in different sizes, and love the color, size, style, and ease of assembly. But this last one is the wobbliest bookcase I’ve ever seen. The screws are as tight as can be, but the stability rails are barely doing their job. So now I have a leaning bookcase in my living room, and when I take one book out the whole thing shifts from side to side. Bummer.

Needed some extra shelving in a closet. This was a nice sturdy piece that was easy to put together.

Looked nice out of the box but when I went to put it together, it was the most wobbly bookshelf I have ever put together. If I put a single item on it, i feel like it would have just have just fallen over. I purchased this one with high hopes due to other reviews but it was nothing like what other have said. I

Great solid wood bookshelf. Easy to assemble by myself. Very dark color, almost black, which I like. I'm not using the wall anchor (no young kids), and it seems sturdy. I would recommend!

Bought 3 for my husband’s home office. Impressed with the material. It’s real wood. Easy to put together. Done in an hour.

Retuned it without completely unpacking it because I saw that is wasn’t the color I wanted. It was not espresso, was more of a deep mahogany. Definitely did not match the other espresso items that I had.

Great quality for the price. Check the measurements prior to ordering because it is smaller than anticipated. I ordered it just checking the width so my bad but it is still a cute bookshelf.

Well made. Sturdy. Easy to assemble.

Did not care for the hex screws that are used. I had two that wouldn’t align correctly. As a result the shelf did not get put together as it should be.

While assembling the bookcase we noticed some peeling and damage on it.

Exactly as pictured. Super easy to put together if you use a drill. We bought six 9x9 fabric bins that fit perfectly on the shelf. Espresso color is nice and it's just the right size.

This was a great purchase. I ordered a second one because I was so satisfied with the first. It's easy to assemble, very sturdy and it looks great.

This bookcase was easy to assemble and has a nice darker finish. It is aesthetically pleasing with other dark furniture, and the side slats allow you to see your books instead of having them cased in. Sturdy!

Easy assembly with the tools in the box (it took me about 20 minutes). The bookcase is a nice size for a small bedroom, it might get lost in a large living room. It fits the soft felt boxes on the shelves perfectly, and holds a pretty decent amount of small books. It is not the sturdiest for holding lots of weight. If you are intending this for nothing but books, it would be wise to secure it to the wall.

I bought two of these wonderful bookcases to put side-by-side for my 11-year old grandson's bedroom -- to hold books, his LEGO creations, and to display his ever-growing collections of rocks, leaves, etc. They are perfect. I like that it has a flat top for a lamp (or perhaps a tv later down the road). They are the perfect height and the shelves are roomy enough to put everything on them that he wanted, with room to spare. They were super simple to put together -- in fact, he put them together, and only needed me to steady the shelves while he put the screws in. I had been looking for nice shelves for a couple months, and these look very nice for the money. I'm considering buying a couple more for the living room.
