Although the body of the product is solid wood, no laminate or pressboard, the necessary "predrilled" holes noted in the instructions for assembly were not present. I had to go through all the designated holes and drill them myself. Took a lot longer to assemble than it should have.

I wouldn't recommend this product because of the assembly. It was very difficult. There were a few predrilled holes for the screws but most weren't. Those that weren't predrilled were difficult to get into the wood so I predrilled them myself. Even with that it was hard to get the screws in because of their location I wasn't able to use a power screw driver for most of the screws. I hope it holds together.

I really like the look of this stand, works well in our little apartment, it's actually wood so yeah the screws take more work than your average furniture assembly. I am a bit disappointed with the shallow drawers. There's quite a bit of unused space in the stand behind the drawers and it could have been nicely utilised. It's also a bit difficult getting stuff out of the drawers because they only pull out of the stand 3/4 of their depth. So game cases or DVDs are hard to get at without taking the whole drawer out

delivered on time but broken and with no directions - had to google to find directions and then they were extremely difficult to follow - to return had to repack up and then bring to local Target - good things were delivered on time and very easy to return at local Target - kudos to staff at Target at Libert Tree Mall in Danvers, MA

Arrived on second scheduled day. When ordered was to arrive earlier then emailed me to change it! Why not just give correct date first time! Assembly required and MANY pieces. Screws were TERRIBLE-wouldn't go into the wood and when finally did, were crooked and/or wouldn't go in all the way. Instructions stated not to use electric screwdriver which would've helped! My sore hands and blisters were not worth the work. Drawers little off center. Hope it stays together.

I am really happy with this product. I bought it to sit under my wall mounted TV. My TV is 48" wide so the stand is slightly more narrow, but I'm happy with the overall look. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts, was the involved assembly. I had read other reviews that also mentioned this so it wasn't a surprise, but it was a time commitment. Mine arrived without instructions, but I was able to find them online without much trouble. There are so many screws. Plan to spend and hour or two sitting in the floor with a Phillip's head.

Cute tv stand, but it really isn’t grey instead it’s more of a light brown with VERY soft grey undertones.

Great product - solid wood, though the color is darker, more like cherry, than pictured. Everything came well packed, including a very organized set of hardware. There are a lot, and I mean A LOT, of screws to deal with - no mini-nails or pre-drilled holes, etc. And since this is solid wood, and not particle board, getting them all into place took quite a while and led to a very sore, almost blistered hand. Otherwise, the drawers are not the full depth of the media stand - but are strangely shallow and slide open only about 3/4 the way - but they hold plenty of DVDs, so it's a minor point. I would definitely order other pieces of furniture from this maker, Linden.

I love this stand-now that it is assembled. Took a long time to put it together since there are about 20 pieces and 40-50 screws. I needed a second pair of hands after awhile to hold things together while I added parts. A metal drawer slide that was put on in factory was installed incorrectly so I had to email the company. Tried calling the # listed on the instructions but just got recorded message to go online. I did get a return email saying the part I need to replace would be sent-I hope it really gets here.

Very sturdy and nice looking. Much darker than it appears in picture and I was disappointed about that. Otherwise, I was able to put it together myself (66 year old woman), the instructions were very clear and easy to follow - it just took me a long time (a lot of hardware). Tried using power screwdriver, but it was not practical in most cases, so I had to use a screwdriver.

Love our new tv stand. With the low profile and open top shelf it does not take up too much space. Fairly easy to put together and looks very nice. The best thing is that it was on sale when we found it, plus another 15% off was n hero promotion. Great deal!

Hardwood. Exactly the size I was looking for. Wish there were more choices of wood-tone/color. ****Some pre-drilled pilot holes shown in the illustrations in the instructions were missing. The instructions do not indicate that you need a drill, but you do.

It seems like it would be a decent product if the correct pieces were in the box. One of the pieces is the wrong part. It has a label indicating that it is the correct part, but when I tried putting the stand together it was obviously the wrong part. I called the company during business hours per the instructions and received a message that they would call me back in 3 business days. Not sure how long how long it will take to get the part after that. In the meantime, I have a half assembled TV stand sitting in the middle of my living room. Regarding the assembly, it will be time consuming if you have to use a screwdriver, but it's definitely doable.

This is a nice solid tv stand but the drawers are small and that was disappointing but it looks good and meets my basic needs. It has a gazillion screws so I put it together in stages. Electric screwdriver would have been helpful.

No screw holes predrilled or even marked. Very nice when assembled.

My husband puts together all of our Target furniture. :-) He loves putting puzzles together and he says that Target makes it pretty simple with good instructions and parts and sometimes the tools. This TV stand turned out beautifully! It's a nice medium brown. The perfect size to fit in the space we had, not too deep or bulky. It didn't have any chips or marks and looks to be in great condition. Keep in mind that it is not the highest quality out there (the wood seems to be more of a softer quality), but it's holding up well and looks good. The open spaces are perfect for my husband's playstations to fit in (one in each compartment), and we can fit his computer back behind the TV (on it's side). So it fits everything that we needed it for. The 2 drawers are a decent size, fitting about 25-27 DVDs or games each. They don't open all the way though, so that's strange - maybe halfway - but we can still get in and out what we need. All in all, we love it!

I corroborate with other reviews that it took some time to assemble. I would also add that a battery-operated, skinny drill is needed to put in screws at odd angles with not much room. But, it looks very nice and professional and am happy with purchase.

Cute stand, but was a pain to put together. You need to have a drill with accessories to predrill your own holes on a lot of the pieces.

I had trouble with this one (very handy and don't usually). Drawers still don't close just right but still good enough for what I need it for.
