Very nice looking fan that works fine, but the white is a shiny, cheap plastic. The remote doesn't control the fan direction, so if you want to reverse clockwise/counter clockwise, you have to get on a ladder and pull up the collar that covers the switch.

I like the look and the quiet operation of this fan. I am not sure about the amount of air that it pushes, does seem as if it could be better. The reason for the points deduction is that the reverse function switch is located on the housing and not controlled by the remote. The fan has been installed very high up on a stairwell. It will be impossible for me to change the operation myself for the winter to save on heating. This is not optimal.

Sleek and beautiful, blends into ceiling and unobtrusive. Replaced old fan. Even though this fan is the same width as the old one, it seems smaller because it only has three blades instead of five. If I ordered again, I’d order the next size larger.
