48" Chelsea Dining Bench Warm Cherry - Alaterre Furniture: Solid Birch, X-Leg Trestle Base, for Entryway or Bedroom

Was not expecting a ton as the pricepoint was reasonable. However this is solid wood, heavy, well designed. Assembly was simple and I got 2 benches finished in maybe 45 minutes, which included unboxing and carrying out the trash, breaking apart styrofoam, etc. It comfortably fits 2 adults and a kid, but wouldn't put 3 adults on it just for space reasoning- though I feel like it could hold the weight. Very happy with this purchase. It's also very smooth and easily wipeable.

This worked perfectly in our space, love the simplicity and the airy feeling of this piece!

Assembly was explained well in the instructions paperwork that was packed together with the wood pieces, hardware, instructions. I originally I had thought I would place the bench on our front porch, but I hesitated because of the possibility of damage to the wood. All of the pieces have protective paint and finishes. It took approximately 30 minutes to put the bench together. At that point it is ready to use. Surfaces have finishes that will help protecting the top.

I originally placed the bench in my porch entryway and have also borrowed it for extra seating on my patio. The bench is sturdy, the finish is smooth and without any defects. It measures 48"w x 14"d x 18"h and the assembly is easy. I thought the cherry finish might be too dark for my taste but the warm tone blends beautifully with my decor. The white finish is a creamy white with very little sheen, which is perfect.

The bench is very sturdy and well made. The assembly was very easy although the directions were lacking in defining one set of screws to use, so be sure to pay attention to the length of the screws.

I use it at my front door for somewhere to sit while taking shoes on and off. The design was a perfect match for my other furniture and decor. It was super easy to assemble with clear instructions. The materials used are great quality too. I just love it! It looks really nice sitting at my entryway.
