Box Had No Instructions, Anyone Else Have This Problem?

The table was not a problem to put together, however, it came with a chip on the edge of the tabletop. It was bought Dec 2020, it did not last 1 yr. One of the legs split apart October 2021. Guess where the replacement table will not come from?

After reading all the negative reviews I was really hesitant to make this purchase but so glad I did! Buyer beware: box/table is very heavy and no there are no pre drilled holes on the table top. I was able to assemble this by myself in about 30 minutes (for reference Im a woman who is not a carpenter or any such profession). Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The holes are pre drilled into the legs of the chair and the screws that come with it make the holes easy to attach. All you have to really do is measure to make sure it’s even. I’d definitely recommend using a power screwdriver to make it easy to attach. Table is beautiful, sturdy and even has those little knobs on the bottom where it sits on the floor to adjust if your floor is uneven.

i loved the design of this table so i took a risk despite the reviews. this table indeed came without any hardware and holes that were not lined up/non existent. not worth the time and energy. i cannot believe target supplies such a poor quality item.

It is really pretty once assembled, but like everyone else, we had to make holes. The only top of the table has a different feel than the legs, it’s a little lighter and has less woodsy depth to it. It’s pretty and I’ll probably keep it.

The first attempt at delivery failed due to an error with FedEx, so Target sent me another table. Only to find out once it arrived that there are no holes drilled in the wood to assemble the table. Unfortunately I don’t own a drill so there’s no way for me to assemble this table. It also didn’t come with any instructions, and was slightly damaged along the edges of the table top. Returning the table was a mess too, they wanted me to physically bring it to a store or FedEx location. Since it won’t fit in my car I called Target back and they scheduled a pick up.

The table is impossible to put together. It is missing literally more than half of the guide holes. There is no way to attach the top to the legs, unless you want to mess around with precisely drilling at least eight holes in the tops of the legs and three holes in the top to attach the crossbars. (To be fair, the top did have two of the four necessary guide holes, but one of the two was several inches away for where it should have been.) I 100% regret buying this mess of a table.

This table is GORGEOUS! I can see where it would be frustrating to have to measure and drill your own pilot holes if you don’t have the tools (and I could see where others had tried before returning the one I received) but after reading the reviews, I came prepared for some hard work. It took a little elbow grease and some careful measuring but the end result was worth it!

I received the table today and assembled it - not without challenges though. It didn’t have guide holes to put the screws into the top or part of the frame. All in missing about 16 guide holes. I’m fairly handy so I measured carefully and drilled them in myself, but for a lot of people that would be a major issue. Also the directions were not easy to follow. Once assembled, table looks great.
