Pretty and good size but very flimsy. Barely touch it and the top pops off. I was hoping this could be the “Golden Egg” for years to come but I suspect I will have to replace

It's a big gold egg . Does the job, fits plenty. For the ones saying it's plastic and painted and cheap...its not real gold lol of course it's plastic and or painted! Lol my kid is 6 and will be so excited to see his gold egg. You want a pricy real one, go to a jeweler.

Bring back the old golden eggs! The one this year is obviously a cheaper quality- the plastic is flimsy, the halves dont line up, the gold is painted on so it’s already wearing in areas. Yet another example of cutting costs and expecting customers to just accept it. No thanks!
Beautiful gold egg

I bought four to fill with money for our Easter egg hunt. They're nice size and the details are adorable. They snap great. I had no issues with them coming open on their own. I'm definitely going to save and reuse these.
It's just painted

I was trying to get the sticker off the bottom & it was stuck too good. I used alcohol. This egg isn't good plastic. It's just painted gold. It's way overpriced for a flimsy painted gold egg. It's so easy to ruin. If you choose to buy it (I only did because my son really wanted it, so I bought it as a surprise), be warned...the paint can come off. Because of that, I also wouldn't give this to a kid who is still in any kind of teething phase, or has oral sensory needs (that result in them putting things in their mouth).

The eggs have some discoloring to them and are cheap looking. They are also hard to close because the plastic is so flimsy it’s hard to line them up. They are definitely not worth $5.00 each
