A: Hi violetcloud....I am unable to attach a video to this response, but the battery compartment slides open in the direction that the arrow is pointing.

It came pretty tangled. I got them untangled and hung. Within an hour, or so, the lights started flashing. No matter what button on the remote you press, they blink. Not worth the money.

I really really wanted these and waited for awhile to justify the purchase, but when I finally got them, I was a little disappointed. Yes, they are a bit tangled upon opening as others said, but it wasn’t a nightmare to undo. My issue is with the lighting modes. For some reason every mode except #8 (all on) starts out a nice slow twinkle or whatever effect it is, then speeds up to an awful strobing quickness before cycling back over. I know that’s a common light option for these kinds of lights, but usually there is also just a regular slow twinkle that doesn’t speed up. I end up using them on the solid on, plugging the USB into my TV (they are hung up on the wall behind the TV) but overall it’s not really as pretty as I’d hoped.

They're pretty but the lights have NO strength to them at all. Even in the dark, they provide no actual lighting. Very very faint. It'd be better to just buy eucalyptus vines off Amazon and then the warm fairy lights or Christmas lights.

Fresh out of the box, they don’t turn on. I replaced the batteries and messed with the connections/switch, but no luck. The vines are cute. Just wish the lights worked given how much it was as a college student.

Cute concept, but seriously be prepared to fight for your life trying to get the strands untangled. Even with two people we couldn’t get them untangled. The second set wouldn’t even light up. I’m a pretty patient person, but these gave me a run for my money. Back they go.
