These do the job of blocking out most of the light as long as your window fits the dimensions. There is a little light that gets out of the sides of the curtains near the suction cups, but overall an okay job for the money. However I can’t keep them up at the moment because of the strong chemical smell. I took them down and aired out my room as I washed them, air dried them per the instructions, then put them up again. The smell still lingered in the curtains and in my room. Going to try washing them again in hopes that I can use them at all.
