52" Cranbrook Low Profile Ceiling Fan with Remote (Includes Light Bulb) - Hunter Fan

Super cute! I love how this room turned out! The fan made the room complete.

We bought four of these for the kids bedrooms in our newly remodeled home. Loved the look, and although the lighting is pretty lackluster, we could deal with that. BUT out of the four of them, we have two that seem to work fine, one that has the random light flashing issue, even when the light is off, so we cannot use the fan at night...and the 4th fan simply doesn't work. After power cycling the switch, it works for may 20 seconds before turning off. Had an electrician out to troubleshoot and found all house wiring was fine, and had never seen a fan do that..... Trying to work with Hunter to resolve, but really hoping not to get another lemon.

This fan is a little larger than I thought. Mainly the part around the light bulb. Just looks kinda awkward aesthetically. Not sure why I couldn’t figure this out from the picture but I’m not loving this look. Works great though lol.

We have three of these in a short term rental, it was a interior designers choice, not mine. They do NOT give out adequate lighting as the black surround blocks a majority of it. Also, the remote feels cheap. I'm hoping it holds up to the constant use of a rental

I bought one for our nursery and one for our spare room. Both installed by an electrician. Both flicker when on. Apparently this is a known issue. These fans are not cheap. Very disappointing as we went with a name we knew. I worry about them starting a fire so we started using floor lamps instead.

The light is nice looking, so much so that I bought two. However, as others have mentioned, the light will randomly turn off and then back on. These lights are in my kids room, so the first few times it happened, they of course thought we had ghosts. We’ve had an electrician come out to check the wiring for both lights, and he found no issues. We’ve changed the light bulbs, etc and the issue persist. After being frustrated, I came back to the reviews, and I see this is recurring issue with this light fixture. Save yourself the trouble, and keep looking. This is not the one to buy!

Contemporary design and quiet! We had 2 of these fans installed in our LR/DR.

Easy to assemble for the most part. Good quality and nice air flow. I get so many complements on it. Only downside is that it is not very bright but definitely something I can personally work with.

This has such a low voltage capacity for the light bulb that it's silly. It can't illuminate even a small room. We only can use it for the fan.

Love the modern look. Fan works great, very quiet. The remote is also nicely designed.

Honestly, this is the best looking fan we've seen on the market thus far -- and quiet, too! While I wasn't a fan of the remote switch since it's in the bedroom, I've learned and adjusted. I think the remote could be made with a better design and higher quality materials. It's a sleek lighting fixture with a dinky-feeling remote, so that's a little bit of a bummer. I saw a review saying that the light is dim, and that's true for 60w bulbs; however, if you replace it with a higher wattage light it lights up the room just fine. We purchased smart lightbulbs and have really loved the ability to customize the lighting in the room based on the time of day. Well worth the additional investment.

The fan is beautiful, no question there. It is a bit large, so I wouldn't recommend i for a smaller room or one with low ceiling. My main complaint is regarding the lighting. It's so dim you would get more light from lighting a candle in the room. I tried higher wattage bubbles and it wasn't helpful. If you are looking for a fan that will also serve as lighting for a room, this isn't the fan for you.

I asked for this fan as a birthday gift from my Dad. He happily obliged. I had waited for many years to find one good enough to replace my vintage fan with awesome details. I figured this would be the one. After my husband installed it and turned on the light I felt like I made a huge mistake taking my old one down. So disappointed in the dimness of the light. I can barely even see in my room. It’s almost like being in an old tavern. I cannot figure out how to make this thing any brighter. For the price of this fan you should have several levels of brightness. I cannot figure out who would even be able to use this light and for what room because it’s just too dark to see anything normal. The color is pretty I received the teal. I just wish i could actually see it.

I've had this fan installed for several months now. If we have the light turned on, it randomly turns off for a few seconds then comes back on. It's an issue others have noted as well. The look of the lighting is not what I hoped for. It's very "spot light" in nature and not ambient. I like a nice soft and we'll lit room. This fan does not offer that.

Please make a smaller blade span, Thanks! Myself as a prospective buyer.

I just installed a new Cranbrook ceiling fan in my office. (Purchased it directly from their website.). The light flashes every now and then and it is just frequent enough to drive me crazy. I replaced the old Lutron dimmer switch with a single pole on/off switch hoping that would fix it but I still have the same problem. Went back and double checked my connections and still the same problem. Getting help from Hunter has been like pulling teeth. I asked them three questions...Is it a known issue. Is there a workaround? Is the fan compatible with other bulbs? They tell me that it is rare. (Spend a few minutes on this site or searching online and you'll find that isn't true.). Then they recommend that I activate the dimmer function. (I had already done this once but tried again at their direction and it failed to fix the problem.). They are not quick to respond so all of this is happening over the course of days. At this point they tell me I need to show proof of purchase. Unfortunately my wife deleted the email so we're getting PROOF from the credit card company. They never bothered to answer my third question. The fan looks good but, unless you're looking for a flashing party fan, it doesn't work. Even if it did, I've lost faith that Hunter is going to back it should I have issues in the future.

Light flickers, issue with remote and receiver. Hopefully getting it fixed soon because company is sending us a new remote and receiver. Looks great though in terms of style.
