I installed two of these ceiling fans on a covered porch (11’ by 18’ by a ceiling only 8’ tall) and after getting them installed, the fans on high speed did not seem to move as much air as I thought. The website specs list 4397 CFM, while the outside of the box lists 2982 CFM, which is like 2/3’s of the air listed in the spec’s. Because if this, I will need to take these down and put something else up in their place, because high speed seems like low speed.

Installed two of these fans in a 3-car garage primarily to reduce heating costs and improve comfort in the winter. Installation was easy and the fan assemblies seem well built and sturdy. Purchased this model because it was advertised as an "outdoor" type, but I see that the fan blades are not plastic or steel but rather fiber board so I do have some concern about them saggy over time from the impact of high humidity. They are working well initially but we'll see how they hold up over time.

Bought 2 black & 1 brushed silver. The wind blew super hard causing fans to hit the brick and chipped the blades on the silver fan. I couldn't believe the blade was actually made of some cheap wood and covered with "weather resistant" material. Quite disappointed in this but they look great hung. Hopefully I can oder just the replacement blades vs the a whole new fan

This is a nice fan. I installed 3 of these on my front porch they Installed easily and operate quietly. Impressed with the amount of air it moves compared to a 60 in 5 blade. The only reason I could not give 5 stars is because the blades are mfg out of wood, although they are vinyl laminated we all know about dreaded blade droop. Time will tell, I would have preferred a plastic composite blade, even if it costs a little more.

Easy DIY assembly and install. They look great on our new patio. Our last ones were still working but needed new "obsolete" blades after 25 years. Hunter is the only brand that we will buy.

Replaced old screened in porch fan with this one. Easy to install, directions and diagrams are very helpful laying out parts and finding the screws, and accessories . This is not my first Hunter fan, so I have done this before. Everything came in packed very good, and wrapped. I questioned the 3 blades, but it beat the old one with more blades hands down. This is my second Hunter purchase this year. Replacing old huge out of date fans.

We bought this fan to put on our porch (our front outdoor living room for half the year) and it has exceeded our expectations. It's really beautiful and sleek and fits right in the aesthetic and matches the existing hardware. It is unobtrusive and does the job. We love this fan. We can’t believe how quiet it is- like angel wings flying- and it moves air amazingly well. We installed it in the master bedroom and it matches the colors perfectly- barnwood on one wall and grey with navy trim on others. We love Hunter fans!

This fan is gorgeous! It also works well - like other fans the direction can be reversed. I reviewed hundreds of fans in person and online before settling on this one. I was nervous about the quality because of the price point, but the quality in person far surpasses fans I saw that were 2x+ the cost. Highly recommend!! It’s classic, classy, matte black and with the black blades faced down, you cannot see the lighter blade color because the sides of the blades are black. Would buy again and again. I hired an electrician to assemble and install these (I bought 2), but it seems straightforward. All pieces we needed were in the box.
