Description
Engraved leaf filigree encircling the motor is the defining feature on Minka Aire's classy Volterra line of ceiling fans. With a Volterra bronze finish motor and matching natural walnut finish manufactured wood blades, the ceiling fan with LED light kit brings an traditional feel to any indoor space. Including two energy efficient LED bulbs, this ceiling fan offers additional ambient lighting filtered through the warm french scavo glass diffuser. I ordered this fan because I really liked the idea of matching the existing fans in my home. However, after it was installed, I was very disappointed with the amount of lighting that the fan provided in an average size bedroom with average height ceiling.
Reverse disappointed.

Beautiful, good quality ceiling fan but would not have ordered had I known you cannot reverse this fan on the wall mount control or the handheld remote, which I paid extra because of high vault ceiling.

This fan and light fixture are beautiful. It fits my decor perfectly. Better yet, my electrician said, while installing, that he hasn’t seen one with such well made parts. It’s quiet and it looks quite elegant. I love it.

Beautiful fans and I loved the 2 independent lighting controls but what is terrible is I have 2 fans for 3 years now and the wall units on BOTH fans have failed - again. They only offer a 1 yr warranty and it happened about 1.5 yrs and now again at 2.5 years. Electrician says the electronics are the problem. Minka air says parts shouldn't fail but clearly they do. and the wall units have problems.

This is a beautiful ceiling fan! I love that it has three options for the lights; up light which reflects off the ceiling, regular globe light, or both. The wall control is easy to use and the blue light on the unit makes it easy to find in the dark. Fan speeds are great. Love it!

The ceiling fan is pretty. There was a problem with the "placement receiver" which controls the on and off of the fan and lights. The bottom lights did not receive a electric connection. Called the troubleshooter number and they order a replacement immediately. The glass light shade looks yellow in pictures and on-line, but is actually white. The plastic "coupling cover" that covers the top lights can be seen from the ground. The fan blades are same color on both sides. The picture on-line has them dark mahogany color, but they lighter, more an oak color.

The lamp shade is too bright white. I ended up having to buy the champaign colored glass and its much better. Fan works good tho. No blade wobble even on high. You should get a choice of shades though.

This is the 3rd time I have used these fans in a home. The different levels of lighting, both up and down, create a unique and somewhat subdued effect in a large room. I love that all the controls are on the wall for both lighting and fan speeds.

I bought this fan for my vaulted great room. I love the way the up light reflects on the ceiling. It has a warm glow from the down light as well. Great looking fan! The wall mounted control it also attractive & easy to use. There are small dots to push in for each of the functions.

Great fan ,put it in our master bedroom & can sleep with it on. The blades are well balanced and continue to revolve for a couple of minutes after it is turned off. The up light is cool ,but the main light is not bright enough for the whole room. Instructions were a little complicated & I wish I knew that the "standard downrod" would allow the 7 ft. of clearance needed with an 8 ft. ceiling .

I recently purchased this fan for my living room with the matching 5' extender and the remote. It is absolutely stunning and it enhances the room greatly. The room has a slanted 22' ceiling. The remote works like a charm and I highly recommend you get it.

Ordered the bronze fan which looks more like carved wood w/white light and it gives off more light than I thought it would in my living room. I have 12 ft ceiling and I ordered an 18" downrod which brings the fan down to just the right height. Very satisfied. Your customer service rep was very helpful in contacting the manufacturer to be sure the 18" rod would work with this fan. Thanks for the help!
