52" Pro's Best Ceiling Fan with Light Kit and Pull Chain (Includes LED Light Bulb) - Hunter Fan

In today's day and age, how could you sell a fan that you can't control the dim level and fan speed from the wall?

The wires to connect the fan and light to the controller are TOO long. I could barely fit the housing with the wires inside. It too MANY tries before successfully doing so. The motor is much lighter than the old motors. I wonder about durability.

This fan is exactly what the room needed. It looks great and was so easy to install. I also love that it is whisper quiet. I highly recommend this fan.

We loved this one so much that we’re looking at replacing a couple others! Assembly and installation weren’t bad at all, very straightforward. This fan is beautiful and looks so nice in our loft. I love the darker color, it adds some nice contrast to the room. And most importantly, the light is great and the fan works wonderfully, definitely has made our home more comfortable.

I love the quietness of our new fan, but with our old Hunter fan, we had a wall switch for the light and one for the fan. Our electrician said this new fan had a single connection for power, and I'd have to control fan and lights with pull cords. Is there a way to wire this fan to two separate wall switches? Please let me know.

I bought four of these for the home we are moving into. The reason for the one star drop is that the electrical wiring is a bit more complicated than other fans. Also, something that is not clear from the fan description is that this is a single switch fan. There does not appear to be a way to wire this fan with two switches (one for the light and one for the fan). However, for us, this was not a deal-breaker for us, as they were all in accessible locations where the pull chain can be used. Also, these digital fans, although very quiet, seem to take a very long time to decide to start turning. No big deal either. The pull chain cycles through the speeds from Slow to fast (the opposite of other fans, too). Overall, we are satisfied with these fans. For entry level, they are great, but they lack some of the additional features you might be looking for.
