The fan looks great, but the light emitted from the fixture leaves much to be desired. I would not have purchased it had I known about the poor light quality. Note too that this fan does NOT have pull switches, which is a REAL problem. The switch on my fan stopped working after a few months. It's still under warranty but once you get the new switch you have to reprogram the switch and fan. A lot of hassle and cost just to own a fan that emits poor light - in my opinion. I'm also running into problem trying to get the new switch from Minca. So, overall, it's been disappointing. Not sure I'll but another MinkaAire product.

It turns itself on for no apparent reason. Think it’s because the remote control frequencies (I don’t have a remote) must be the same as another device nearby. Can’t figure out how to fix. Extremely frustrating.

For what you pay, this fan doesn’t last long.

We purchased this product to fit the theme of the area it was installed. We love the features of the light dimming control and the fan setting speeds. Combine these features with the additionally purchased remote controller, this is one of the best outdoor fan applications we ever had.

Bought this for my outdoor deck and loved it so much I bought three for my great room. As soon as the house is finished I will send in the pictures!

I bought two of these fans. I worked great but the other wobbles too much. I installed the balancing kit that is included with the fan and it still wobbles. It very hard and exhausting to install the kit

This is an outstanding fan, very quiet with very little sound and movement when turned up all the way. It comes with a 100 watt bulb, but the frosted glass dims it a bit. I'm pretty handy and installed it easily in our beach house. I can't stop staring at it, it's a work of art. I'm not crazy about the wall control switch, it could be nicer for such a quality fan.

I receive raves on this fan's unique beauty. The electrician said it was easy to install and was top quality. Ordering was easy and fan came within a couple days. I ordered the extension bar...but an extension comes with it...so unneeded expense. The glow of the amber light is subtle and warm. The fan is quiet-even on high speed.

Ordered this for my new screened in porch . It is absolutely gorgeous . Everyone who has seen it agrees it was a smart choice .

Installed this beauty in the mancave- Looks great with the industrial themed globe cage- (got the bronze finish) and runs totally silently, thus not interfering with the mancave games. Dimmable down to almost nightlite and bright enough for power tool lighting. And when I turn it on, it rains. when I turn it off, the rain stops. Thanks Rainman!

Looks great but I have to say it doesn't move as much air around as I would have liked. I wish the blade pitch was greater since it is outdoors and needs to be a strong fan. But it does look good and fit in with the rest of our decor.

An excellent experience throughout the entire process. From the tons of pre-sale questions to the receipt of the fan to the installation, we are impressed. The shipment arrived timely because it needed to coincide with the installation of our patio. It arrived in plenty of time. Installation went easily and the fan is wonderful. We plan to buy more fans and our first stop will be Lighting Direct.
