A: Each shelf has a weight limit of 30 pounds except the very top of the bookcase which has a weight limit of 25 pounds.

I bought this to clean up my office of binders from courses I have taken. The shelves are exactly the correct space between and the unit looks pretty good. It was quite easy to assemble. I have to take extra cautions as my back does not allow me to bend down too much but I was able to put it together myself within a short time frame.

small and the material is a matte dark grey/charcoal type of color, not dark black so not what i was looking for. i was able to assemble by just looking at the picture. helpful manual

Smaller than I expected, not sturdy and wobbles. Assembly was easy and the color is nice, but now I feel like I wasted my time building it. Plan to return this product.
