A: it is milled from solid wood and it is a natural acacia. it is not stained. i have had mine a year. the finish is lovely and never had an odor.

submitted byShilpa - 2 years agoTarget staff supportA: If you use the included bracket to fasten it to the wall, it remains unable to actually touch the wall. i would advise using the included bracket to secure it to the wall. there is approximately one inch floating room between wall and the bracket if you choose this safe and appropriate method as advised by instructions

Q: I received mine today, and the top was broken. Tried putting it back, but noticed there’s no screw just chipped wood. Is it supposed be loosed like that to till forward or is it defected? Online pict don’t look tilled over.

Q: We unboxed the ladder today. There is a joint in the middle of the ladder that is broken and separates into two halves. Is this normal or is my ladder broken?

A: The ladder is one solid piece and it should be exchanged for one that is more continuously constructed. I have had mine for a year and it is well constructed and should be one piece.

This is such a waste....I ordered one of these, it was broken. Got refund and a second one, and second one broken in exact same place due to inadequate padding around object! Unreal! I noticed other reviews said same thing! When is target going to fix this issue? It's a beautiful item, such a shame and waste!!!

Like everyone else on here who ordered delivery, item arrived damaged and broken because Target didn't wrap it well or protect the ladder, the box itself was torn and damaged and open on the lower half. Poor packing, poor protection.

This is such a great addition to our sitting room. We have a wall that was bare and plenty of blankets so this was a perfect match. The color of wood is so gorgeous and the ladder feels sturdy. It even came with screws so you can add an extra level of stability to the ladder. The only thing that is not my favorite is the width, it’s a ladder so I get it cannot be too wide but since the blankets are so large they have to be stuffed to fit onto the rungs. So it may work better for throw/smaller blankets. Overall, this is still one of my favorite purchases of 2024 regardless of the width. I love the arched top. It perfectly fits into the “Nancy Meyers” aesthetic.

Beautiful ladder, but it ships terribly. For the cost, it'd be nice if it came with more protection, especially since I'm unable to purchase in store in my area. You can see how it came out of the box. Could be a combination of quality and shipping, not sure. The ladder itself is a lovely color and the shape really sets it apart. It's not the sturdiest but it's great for lighter weight/smaller blankets.

I have had mine for over a year now. Quality construction. i would like to include that it is well made and the number of people who have stated they received it broken need to factor in that when it is shipped — it goes through far more stress than it is designed to bear. it’s beautifully made but made for light throws and quilts as a DECORATIVE ladder and the stress in travel is unimaginable. It’s sturdy, pretty, and i always have lots of curious and positive feedback wondering where i got it. it looks more expensive than it is. i’m picky so i bought it at an actual target store so i could see the wood grain and finish. i picked what i felt was the best tone for me but you need to realize that tone, grain, color, shade of REAL ACACIA WOOD like this product is will have variances in appearance. it’s not plastic or composite so you need to know the color will vary in a n attractive and gorgeous way. buy it. it’s worth it from a design standpoint and quality standpoint. Lovely in a bathroom for towels as well.

The arched ladder is exactly what we were looking for to add to the nursery. However, it arrived damaged. The top of the arch arrived with nails sticking out and disconnected. My husband is going to try to fix it because I do like it, just a little disappointing for it to arrive with such significant damage, especially for the price.
