A: No, we do not recommend cutting the fence because it will void the manufacturers warranty.

Q: hi! is this 6 feet by 16 feet as stated in the description? the "details" mention 4x8, I think, so I was confused.

A: Reed fencing is designed to be attached to a current fence with cable ties or additional steel wire (not included in the package) and cannot stand on its own.

The length is not 16 feet as stated. It’s closer to 14 feet. It’s a decent quality reed fence, I just wish the dimensions were correct.

Recently moved into an apartment however my patio is facing the back of a building/ everyone's window. You will definitely need to double the reed fence for more privacy. You can see the difference between the first and second pic.

The bamboo fence came rolled up, it was easy to attach to the fence that was currently separating my neighbor and I’s yard. My neighbor keeps a lot of trash and junk in their backyard - such an eyesore! So I got the fence as a cheap fix for that problem. But the bamboo fence is a bit see through since there isn’t a double stack of bamboo twigs lined up; it’s pretty thin. I wish the bamboo was already doubled so it could be less see-through, but I guess I could always buy extra to double them myself if I want it to be less sheer and more opaque. Aside from that, the fence looks great! Definitely have a new/better ambiance to my yard and it does help a bit with blocking my neighbor’s messy eyesore of a backyard (somewhat).
