I've been looking for a large, sturdy lantern that I could leave on my front porch year around in Michigan & I finally found it!! I will agree with the shipping/packaging being a joke. Thankfully my purchase arrived intact but it was a box too large with some bubble wrap thrown in-not enough to do anything! I was very surprised. Target you can do better!

Avoid purchasing this product or from this company. The item arrived damaged, and Target refused to issue a refund since it was returned in that condition. As a result, we no longer possess the product and have lost over $100.

I love these lanterns! I have all three sizes outside and they are so weather resistant! I keep them out year long, which living in the Midwest, that means they experience all four seasons!

Using ours outdoors.. bought in June, paint starting to peel after about 6 weeks. They are on the porch under cover getting about 2 hours of morning sun. Stunning when first purchased. Was concerned during the summer a candle might melt in the heat, disappointed the paint is not holding up

Good quality lantern and great design. I have mine indoors, but I think outdoors woud be fine too. I took off a star because the handle will not stay up. Not a big deal, but I would prefer if it did.

We received these last week and wished I would have bought a few more with different heights. I only gave it 4 stars because on one of the lanterns the metal clips on both sides are not as tight as they should be causing the handle not to be able to stand on its own. Other than that, these seemed to be good quality and are currently hanging up in the living area next to the barn picture and lamps I recently ordered from Target. We’re currently updating are decor after many years and it’s been an exciting time with so many choices they have online.

Great addition to my outdoor space. Used a Luminara outdoor 2”x3.2” votive, in them. Perfect with my wrought iron patio furniture.

I have had a set of these in all sizes for about a year and just purchased a second set. They are very sturdy and held up great through all seasons. I have similar lanterns from Restoration Hardware that have faded quite a bit. These did not fade at all / color looks exactly the same as the new set. They look the same as higher priced options at other stores but for 1/2 the price.

Briefly, target boxed this sturdy lantern in well little bubble wrap, in a box that you could put two of these in, the seal was completely broken when Federal Express dropped off on our door(they should be replaced based on knowing the box was open or not completely secured), didn't even need to open to know it was in a few pieces. The only reason for two stars instead of one is the return to the store was painless. Maybe get a new currier?
