A: Hi Kelly I wondered the same thing. I noticed that it says 'lead free' in the images of the product. Hope you see this!

I purchased 2 sets on a registry (online only). They were received in a plain brown box. Bowls had no other packaging, and very little protection. Upon opening brown box, I found the bowls broken into pieces. This was very unfortunate.

First, we are thankful Target provided a full refund. When the box arrived there were only four bowls in the set and pieces of the bowls were falling out of the sealed box. Two of the bowls were broken. So we ended up with only 2 bowls and needed the set of 6. Disappointing.
