Q: can you wash the actual blanket? I can see that I can remove the cover and wash that, but my dog peed on the cover and I am thinking it seept into the fabic all the way to the actual weighed blanket.
A: I had the same question! I have this blanket and our family loves it. But now it needs a washing. I see this in the specifications above: Care and Cleaning: Machine Wash, Tumble Dry
submitted bySDMom - 1 year agoA: I don't know about this specific blanket but I have two weighted blankets (one with a cover) and I wash them every couple of weeks. the one is king sized though so I take it to a laundry mat

Q: I don't see a zipper around the edges of the faux fur cover. How do i actually take the cover off to wash it???
A: Hello P23 - In the second and the third images you will be able to view the zipper .When you're ready to clean it, simply remove the cover and toss it in the wash. Filling should be spot cleaned only. Hope this helps. - Kevin

Q: Do the beads leak? I’ve had other weighted glass blankets but the beads leaked
A: Hi Rylee - Thank you for the inquiry. Faux Fur Weighted Blanket from Threshold is top quality and does not leak. Glass beads are generally considered a safe filling for weighted blankets because they don't absorb moisture like organic fillings. You can usually machine wash a weighted blanket filled with glass beads on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Happy shopping! - Kris
