A: Our 60" W x72" L sofa bed mattress is equivalent to a Queen-size mattress but it's always a good idea to measure the actual dimensions of the sofa bed before purchasing a mattress

I found the Madison Park Essentials - Frisco Ultra-Soft Microfiber Waterproof Sofa Bed Mattress Pad very easy to put on the mattress. When I laid down on the bed, I found it very comfortable and ‘cushie’! Like laying on soft little pillows! And the water proof facter is a bonus!

The only complaint I have is that it could have more padding….maybe thicker. Sofa bed mattresses are generally not that comfortable and could use all the padding possible.

I have noticed a difference when it’s on versus when it’s off—makes our sofa bed softer and more comfortable to sleep on. Cons: thinner than I expected (see photo) and for some reason I thought it would be a thicker mattress pad. Would give it 5 stars if it was thicker. However because of this, it is easier to unfold and fold back up. Overall still like it and recommend.

When my family comes they know that they will be sleeping on my living room sofa bed and it was recently brought to my attention that there is a slight sag in the middle of the bed and while it is still soft, the saggy spot did not offer enough support for anyone to thoroughly enjoy a full night’s sleep. After some online research, I chose Madison Park Essentials Frisco Microfiber Sofa Bed Mattress Pad. It is a WATERPROOF, slip-resistant, machine washable, removable cover that is breathable and soft but its just a tad to thin for me!

However after putting it on the bed and letting it sit for awhile, I later down on it. It actually made the bed softer than before. The pad that was on it made it a little uncomfortable. With the pad on, it felt so much better. You could actually sleep on it without hurting .

After we added the pad, it was very comfy. It's was a good solution to make it more comfy and we didn't have to buy a new mattress

I like having a mattress pad for when friends come over and stay and have kids I just feel like it's an extra layer of protection I can't wait to try it out. Doesn't look shabby. I thought it would be a little bit more padded like in the picture but it looks more like a thin quilt than a mattress pad. It does make the sofa bed a bit more comfortable but not by too much. It does have straps to keep the corners in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I host many friends that use my sofa bed and am always looking for good covers to keep my mattress clean and protected. I tried the Frisco Microfiber Sofa Bed Pad and it performed very well. I got the Full-size pad and it fit perfectly over the mattress. The pad was very soft and easy to fit onto the sofa bed as there was plenty of room to fold the pad edges under the mattress. After placing the pad over the sofa bed, it easily folded back into the couch with little effort and no overhangs indicating any pad was being used. I felt it overall improved the comfort of the mattress but not in an overgenerous way. Overall, we felt it performed exactly as designed and protected the thin mattress we’ve always had with sofa beds. Laundering the pad was easy and after machine washing via cold water and hanging dry afterward it looked and performed very well. I give the Frisco Waterproof Sofa Bed Pad a 4-STAR Rating.

It’s not quite as thickly padded as we had hoped, even if for a foldable sofa. It does hold up well, and protects the mattress as you’d expect.
