Description
Designed by Minka Aire, the Dream Star is a 60" LED ceiling fan boasting an oil rubbed bronze finish motor and eight matching oil rubbed bronze finish ABS blades. With a DC motor, this fan comes complete with an integrated 18 watt LED and etched glass. The Dream Star also includes one 12" downrod and the RC400 AireControl Remote System. (UMRP)

I purchased this ceiling fan because it looks good. While it has a stylish design, it's severely lacking in functionality. Despite trying various settings, including max speed and reversing the direction, it fails to move any air effectively. I own several Minka Air fans that work perfectly, but this fan's performance is horrible. I wouldn't recommend it if you need a fan that actually cools the room.

The fan looks good, but I was surprised by the plastic fan blades. They seem cheap. Also, I had expected that the fan and light could be wired to separate wall switches for operation without the remote, but that is not possible.

This is a beautiful ceiling fan. I put it in my master bathroom and it gives off wonderful air circulation. It is quite large and the style and color are great looking against the gray and white marble in the room. It’s quiet as well.
