[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nice lamp and it stands a little over 5 ft tall. The base is made of plastic and the pole is made from some type of metal. The shade looks like a screen and plenty of light gets through but it swivels and I don’t see the logic behind this feature. The on/off button is on the cord. You have to step in it to utilize it. You either will like it or you won’t. Eclectic type feel to it. I think a younger generation would like it more than me.

The metal is very thick and the base is very heavy which makes it extremely sturdy. We used a "flame bulb" in ours which makes it appear as if it is a gas lamp.

The weight of the lamp allows it to stand sturdy and not easy be swayed or knocked over. The black matte finish is beautiful, sleek and adds a minimalistic design element to a room. The cool thing is there are so many kinds of Edison style bulbs you can use with this lamp. I love the metal shades and how they are adjustable. The floor step allows for easy on and off without having to touch the pole. I use it often and love the look. It feels like a premium lamp and I love that.

You wouldn't think it would go with just about any decor but it does! It is shiney yet it will vibes! I love how the globe part adjusts so you can have light different ways. It's definitely the perfect height to do it's job. It's sturdy as well I have 3 big dogs running through my house and it has never budged! If you need something to talk about with your guest and to catch everyone's eye you gotta get one of these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This floor lamp would fit in with just about any decor. I put it in a dark corner of our bedroom. I love the fact that it has an on/off floor button on the cord that you can just gently step on to turn it on and off. This is great when your hands are full. I put the maximum 60W bulb in and it is quite bright. The shade does not deflect the light well, so be prepared for brightness if you use that high of a wattage bulb. I love it though, as I can not see well in dim lighting.

It really is a unique piece that adds character to a living room, bedroom or even a hallway/entryway. We elected to use in it our finished basement as the decor matches perfectly. This lamp was super easy to put together and only took about 20 mins.

I like that it has a long cord because I was able to put it where I didn't have an outlet. I like the black and gold and I also like that the mesh globe shade can be adjusted.
