It is the perfect height to sit above an armchair and the color is bright brushed brass. The shade is green with a blue tone to it rather than yellow. The build is solid and the lamp stands perfectly straight. There's a foot on/off switch which is handy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elaine 62.75 inch Brushed Gold-Colored Floor Lamp with Green Contoured Glass Shade is gorgeous and fits in great with my modern library situation. I am using it next to my sofa as a reading lamp and it is working out well! The green shade adds a bit of color to my otherwise white furniture. Its the same color as my cactus collection!

I love that it has a foot pedal pushing button for the on and off switch. The Green Contoured Glass Shade is cool because it amplifies the light. It lights up the whole living room. I like the green and gold together, it looks really nice. I'm very happy with my lamp.

The globe shaped glass is a beautiful jade green. The quality of the floor lamp is great and it is very easy to install. The lamp also has a press to touch foot switch and is not dimmable. A 40 Watt light bulb is recommend but needs to be purchased separately. The light of the lamp is quite bright and I can read my books easily using it. I am so happy that I got this floor lamp and already got lots of compliments from family and friends.
