The shelf itself is beautiful. Fit the corner very well. Easy to put together. But the quality is REALLY bad. For $140 I expect something better than this. It’s flimsy and no enforcement so it really has to be secured to the corner. I’m using it to put light toys in my son’s room only, would not recommend for books or heavy stuff.

DAMAGE, every single shelf had damage. Not a small amount of damage either, big pieces of the black missing, the styrofoam was crumbled into millions of bits, & the box was damaged. Shame on them for delivering it this way. The finish is also very odd, it almost looks like metallic spray paint & has texture to it but is clearly laminated mdf.

Decently easy to put together. Took me around 25-30 minutes and the instructions were easy to follow. For the money, not a bad purchase. It's certainly not a solid-wood overly "nice" piece of furniture that we'll keep forever but it's perfect for what we wanted it for.

first: this does not have hinges, which means you cannot adjust to fit the size of your actual corner second: very poor quality. there are several large gaps between the ladder "steps" on each piece which come pre-assembled (possibly glued?) which are easily visible third: gave it two stars rather than one because from a distance it does look cute & get compliments. up close: she's a mess

I got the weathered oak and it looks nothing like the picture. The box it came in said “gray oak” which is way more accurate. It’s definitely gray so I’ll be returning it.

I love the idea of this but the item itself was not as good as I imagined. The bottom part was cracked and any amount of weight would more than likely snap it. The sides were scratched up and very dirty. This is super unfortunate because I really liked the idea but I will have to return this.

The bookcase was so easy to assemble. I wish Ikea stuff was this easy. I love how snug it fits into the corner. There is no wasted space! We love it. I just wish there was a walnut color choice. I had to chose espresso because black was to dark.
